shaking her head as she walked over to the counter, she noticed that there weren't many customers, if at all. summoning a large sack of coins and gems, she handed it to the barkeep and said, "(we would like to purchase a meal. this should cover any and all food we'll eat.)" staring at the sack, she nodded at Zhatriana and took the sack behind the counter. yelling into the back, she saw the work staff cheer and start cooking and baking food, making her mouth water once again. turning to Argyros, she motioned to a family-sized table and began to walk to it as a waitress began to bring out a basket of some bread and fruit.

Hearing the staff cheer Argyros figured they didn't get many customers making him look back with sympathy before he followed after the wyvernic female over to the table. He tried harder to not let the scents of food affect him, having to quickly wipe his mouth a few times due to the fact he seemed to almost be drooling badly at times as he sat at the family sized table. "Thank you miss,"He said to the waitress after bringing the fruit and bread before one fruit caught his eye and he picked it up, "Ah I missed these, fruit of the dragon."He chuckled as he picked up a dragon fruit and used his claw to cut it in half before peeling the skin away and eating the center within.

taking a single fruit and piece of bread from the basket, he pushed the basket to Argyros. "(here, your going to need this. thirty-five hundred years will have affected your appetite,)" she said, smiling at him. turning towards the door to the kitchen, she tapped her talon three times. as she tapped the third time, she smiled when two waitress carried out platters of food that looked delectable. setting it down, she just looked at it as she nodded at the waitresses, waiting for Argyros to take first pickings.

"More than likely,"Argyros agreed, recalling how flying had proven difficult and his body still felt a bit weak and he was beginning to think it was due to the fact he had not eaten yet. And for the crystal dragon it was still strange to use plates, bowls, and anything of civilization as much of his time had been spent in the wilds, mostly of Concurrent Skies, so he was a little clumsy when grabbing a plate and picking a few of everything. By the time he was done his plate was stacked full of a few things of everything, even the bread and fruit, mostly the dragon fruit. But there was still plenty left for Zhatriana to eat as well.

smiling as she watched the Crystal Dragon stack his plate full of food, she grabbed a a small amount of food and began to eat. within a few minutes, Zhatriana had eaten the food she had grabbed, then laid her head down as she began to feel sick. placing her wing-claw on her larger then normal belly, she closed her eyes as she tried to keep her stomach from turning.

It wasn't long before Argyros began to dig into his food, almost having to remind himself to not be so quick as he knew it could make him sick since it had been so long. But it wasn't long after Zhatriana had finished that he too was done and began to feel his body was growing strong again from the rest and nourishment he had been needing. Though as he was eating another roll he noticed something seemed wrong, making him glance at Zhatriana once more, "Zhatriana are you sure your okay?"He asked her, really beginning to worry about the dragoness.

"(yeah, i'm okay. just my pregnancy is messing up my stomach, and my releasing and rejuvenating you didn't help either,)" she said, smiling at him as best as she could. suddenly, she leaned her head over the side of the table and threw up, groaning as she threw up her food. sliding her head back on the table, her scales actually looked greenish as her stomach grumbled.

So that was the problem. Standing Argyros quickly came around the corner, avoiding the area where she had vomited and gently nudged her, "Your getting a room and resting Zhatriana, I appreciate all you've done but if your pregnant then this isn't going to help if you keep exerting yourself this way."He told her before glancing over, "Barkeep, I need any available room you got now. If I have to I'll pay extra."He called over.

as several of the waitresses came over to her and help her to the stairs, the barkeep told Argyros that the amount she paid was well over enough for a room. groaning as she was carried up the stairs and into the largest room, they helped her into the bed and covered her up. closing her eyes, she focused on keeping her body stable as her body was still acclimating to the effects of her coma.

Argyros nodded at the barkeep before he for now followed the waitresses to be sure they wouldn't need a hand but it seemed they were able to get Zhatriana to a room where she could rest. For now though he decided it was best to let her sleep and quietly closed the door behind him before he went back to finish the rest if he could, still concerned greatly. If he had known she was pregnant he would have certainly made sure she hadn't attempted to restore more of his energy a while ago.

opening her eyes as her body calmed down, she looked up to the ceiling as she placed her wing-claws on her belly. "(soon my child. soon you shall join us in the world, just wait a bit longer please,)" Zhatriana spoke softly, as she rubbed her belly. slowly closing her eyes, she soon fell asleep as her body became weak. from a shadowed corner, a strange shadowy figure emerged from the wall, its claws extended and its face and most of its appearance clouded in shadows.

As Argyros was finishing a bit more of the meal he eventually let the waitresses take the rest and was beginning to decide what to do from there. After a bit though the crystal dragon decided to go watch over Zhatriana as she had watched over him, it was the least he could do for her kindness that she had have given to him despite the little scare of her Shadowseeker side. With a slight yawn he began heading towards the room and opened the door, seeing Zhatriana finally asleep but noticed the shadowy figure and growled, instinct immediately taking over to quickly move between the figure and expecting mother which he did. "Who are you?!"He snarled towards the figure, his fur bristling slightly.

turning its head towards Argyros as he entered and hissed at him threateningly, a rattling sound started to sound as more of its form emerged from the shadows. suddenly, it moved with near-lightning speed across the ceiling towards its target, its claws extended. moving too quick for the Crystal Dragon to react, it bared its large snake-like, venom-filled fangs as it was about to strike at Zhatriana. suddenly, the large Wyvernic dragoness shot her eyes wide open as she opened her maw wide and snapped her jaws shut around the neck of the snake-like assassin. using her claws to grab its claws, she pulled so hard that its arms were nearly ripped from their sockets. throwing the dying assassin against the wall, she started to cough and gasp for breath as her actions exhausted her so much.

Watching the creature move quickly Argyros tried to snap his jaws around it's tail, only missing by inches as the snapping of his teeth could be heard. Turning with concern he saw Zhatriana was quick to react but with notable exhaustion. This dragoness never seemed to catch a break to be able to rest properly. "Guessing the world hasn't changed quite that much,"He remarked.

looking at Argyros in the corner of her eye, she shook her head. "(the world has changed, but not demons of the past. this slimy bastard was sent by someone who i had not agreed with in the past,)" she spoke through her heavy breathing, as the shadowy cloak fell off the dead assassin, revealing its snake-like race and the decayed-like feature on its chest. "(so, its time again. damn,)" she spoke, as she fell over onto the bed as her legs and wing-arms gave out.
