Awakening an ancient warrior(Open)

for a full day, Zhatriana slept without a sound, peacefully sleeping under the covers. as the smell from the kitchen below reached the room, Zhatriana finally started to stir form the deep sleep as she licked her lips. slowly opening her eyes, she opened her mouth to let out a large yawn.

Though for that full day Argyros went between watching over Zhatriana, practicing his flying again, and regaining his strength he never went too far from the hotel. After that attack he still was well ready to fight if anything went to harm the dragoness, right now feeling he owed her for what she had done for several days. Though that day he was down in the dining area, eating a plate of spicy chicken in the shape of small pebbles and dragon fruit, some of his favorite kind of foods the place had to offer.

slowly stepping off the bed and sleepily making her way down the stairs, Zhatriana followed the smell of the food as she made her way. coming to the table Argyros was eating his food at, she sat down and let out another yawn. "(some juice please, with a shot of your strongest wine,)" she called out, laying her head down as she was still sleepy.

Argyros smiled a bit when seeing Zhatriana but chuckles as he could see she was still sleepy, "You want one of these to try?"He said, holding up one of the spicy chicken balls he had, "Wake you right up, trust me. It did when I tried it." He said, having gotten a nap here and there the past day since he knew he should at least try to sleep but it was more or less an offer.

"(its okay, i need some liquid more then food right now,)" she said, as a waitress brought a bottle of wine, a pitcher of sweet-smelling juice, and a large glass. "(thank you, dear,)" Zhatriana said, as she took the glass from the platter the beverages came on. opening the wine with a pop, she poured it at the same time as the juice, getting a equal mixture of the liquids. taking the full glass and down the contents in one drink, she set the glass down and laid her head down with a slight thump. after a minute of being still, she took a deep breath as she rubbed the back of her head. "(much better,)" she said, smiling as she licked her lips.

Nodding Argyros continued to eat the chicken until it was gone, having only a small amount of it and the fruit since he no longer needed as much as the last few days. Soon he began peeling away the skin of the dragon fruit and ate them with ease in one bite, swallowing a bit as he watched Zhatriana drink the mixture, "Are you sure it's wise to be having wine?"He asked her.

"(my body is radiated with Arcane energy, so it gives me a type of immunity to most alcohols. plus, this wine is quite a particular one to me, since i have been using this to wake up almost my entire life. easy to make, and quite a known one to royalty,)" Zhatriana said, smiling at him. pouring more into the glass, she drank another glass of the mixture. "(the Arcane energy also is protecting my unborn child,)" she added, setting the glass down.

"Just being certain,"Argyros said as he went back to his meal and didn't take long to finish before grabbing his drink which was a strong smelling beer and finished it. He didn't drink often but he figured he might as well, it had been really his first few in a long while so it called for the occasion. "So, what are our plans today?"The silver furred dragon inquired curiously.

"(not sure. i'm feeling better then i was before, so if you want, we can start making our way to that temple i saw,)" Zhatriana said, looking at him as she placed the cork back on the wine bottle.

"We can if your feeling up to such a task, but you don't need to strain yourself if your not ready. I'm not in that big of rush." Argyros said, again wanting to be certain Zhatriana was really fine to head out since she had seemed quite week the day before last and she still seemed tired. Though that could have just been from her long rest.

"(i'm fine to travel. my Arcane energy is replenished enough, so we don't have to travel much. though i think it best if we wait a bit, cause if we go right now, then your stomach will flip three ways,)" she said, laughing jokefully. placing the wine, juice and glass back on the platter, she pushed to the center edge of the table to be taken back to the kitchen.

"I'll be fine Zhatriana, I'm flown in bad weather before with a full stomach I can handle something far worse. I'd rather travel anyway while I'm full and actually recovered than having my stomach rumbling the while way." Argyros said, waving a paw to show he would be just fine. He had a pretty much iron stomach, so to speak, and had handle bad situations before where he had been told the same thing. He had no doubts this would be a similar situation.

shrugging her shoulders, she spoke as she stood up, "(don't say i didn't warn you.)" walking towards the door, she waved to the barkeep and waitress and said they could keep the extra. opening the door and walking out, she walked over to where Argyros was encased less then a week ago. raising a claw, she channeled her Arcane energy and opened a rift, a swampy landscape could be seen on the other side. "(hope your ready for a wild ride,)" she said, smiling as she looked at him.

Standing, Argyros followed the dragoness outside of the inn they had used some time after he had been encased. It would be weird to be leaving an area he had been trying to protect so long ago but now was currently at peace and much larger, seeming to be thriving after the days Malefor was around. Watching the rift open he nodded, "Never been more ready."He assured her.

nodding at him, she suddenly grabbed the back of his neck. "(see you in a minute,)" she said, then threw him right into the rift with ease. turning her head to look at the villagers that had allowed them shelter, she smiled and waved at them as she entered the rift. closing her eyes to counteract the vertigo, she landed with ease on the other side as the marshy ground moved around her claws.
